Decision No. 71 of 2024 on the Establishment of the Customs Officers College and the Enactment of Certain Provisions

- The letter from the Director of the General Administration for the Affairs of the Council of Ministers No. 3129 dated February 11, 2024.
- The decision made by the Council of Ministers in its tenth regular meeting for the year 2023.
Decided
Article 1
A college named the Customs Officers College is hereby established, enjoying juridical personality and independent financial liability, under the Customs Authority, and shall be organized according to the prevailing legislations.
Article 2
The Libyan Academy for Customs Studies, established by decision No. 593 of 2016 referred to, is hereby abolished.
Article 3
All fixed and movable assets owned by the abolished Academy referred to in the preceding article shall be transferred to the College established by this decision.
Article 4
This decision shall come into effect from the date of its issuance, and any provision contradicting it shall be repealed, and the competent authorities shall implement it.
